Nebula update

I didn’t realize the transition to the new Nebula rules means stuff published after July 1st of last year is still eligible, so my list also includes “Kingspeaker” and “A Heretic by Degrees.” (Possibly also “A Mask of Flesh,” but it’s right on the borderline, so I’m thinking no.)     Which do you think is the strongest of your short stories?

      Hmmm . . . tough question. It depends on the axis of evaluation, really — which varies from person to person — but if I absolutely had to settle my own opinion on one, I’d probably say “Once a Goddess.”

        I’m just trying to narrow down the field of what to read…by February. There’s a lot of good stuff out there ;o)
