If I’m to be a sugar momma, I’d better act like one

It’s always pleasing when I sell a second story to a given market — proof that the first sale wasn’t a fluke. In this case, the folks buying another piece from me are the Intergalactic Medicine Show (who previously published “Lost Soul”), and the story they have purchased is “A Heretic by Degrees”.

For those who have been playing along at home: yes, that’s a Driftwood story, and the first one to sell. May many more follow in its wake!

    w00t! Congrats!

Now my status as a Driftwood fanboy will actually mean something to people 😉

    Woot!

Hmm, I wonder if you can use this as an excuse to convince someone to bake a celebratory bean dip. 🙂

Given that I’m not actually a fan of the bean dip (I don’t like beans), I’m not likely to agitate for it.

        No bean dip?!

        Inconceivable! *g*

Oh well, I’m sure there are lots of people who’d happily help you get rid of the celebratory bean dip. I mean, that’s what friends are for, eh?

That said, I am compelled (by my lack of sleep) to add:

We can do you bean dip and writing, without the celebration.
We can do you bean dip and celebration, without the writing.
We can do you all three concurrent or consecutive.
But we can not give you writing and celebration, without bean dip.
        Bean dip is compulsory.

        *ducks and runs*

Yay! I’m a fan of that idea!

So just publish a few more and then edit your anthology and you’re set! 😛

I do hope for a Driftwood collection someday. But right now it would be a whopping ten or eleven thousand words long, with all of two stories and one bitty flash piece in it.

      Ergo, needing to write more.
