That’s fabulous! Congratulations! What story is it?
“Lost Soul.” Don’t tell anybody, but it’s one of my very much older stories, from way back in college.
I don’t think I’ve read that one.
Probably not; it was out in the world long before I came to Bloomington.
Congratulations!!! They must be going through their stacks. I got an “Almost, but…” e-mail about a half-hour ago.
So what’s your story about?
Sorry to hear we won’t be TOCmates. 🙁
Oddly, this is a story I’ve had trouble selling before because it doesn’t really have much of a fantastical component. The setting is fantasy, but the story really just has to do with music, High Art vs. low popular.

Congrats! I’m waiting on mine after a similar hold notice. I guess I’ll be waiting anxiously by my inbox.
They just held a big reading, but I don’t know if they got through quite everything.
Yay!
Send us all signed copies!
–Just kidding, Congratulations
Re: Yay!
Signed copies of an online magazine would be a neat trick. I suppose I could make a jpeg of my signature, and let you all paste it in somewhere . . . <g>
Wooohooooooooooooooo!!!!1 Congrats!1
Way cool! I have a large collection of their rejections. 🙂
I’ve only just started building mine. Had you asked me, I never would have predicted this would be the story they’d buy; I figured it for a long shot.
Woot! 🙂
Nice! Good morning, from the people who brought you Ender’s Game!
Indeed! And while I may not agree with Card’s politics, that need not have any bearing on a business relationship.
I was wondering about that.
Congratulations!
