Some poetic forms very nearly amount to stunt writing, and I feel that a rhymed, iambic quatern double is one of them. But 1) the quatern double really suited my subject matter and 2) in the challenge/contest where I wrote it, someone else had done it rhymed and iambic, so of course I wanted to try and do the same thing.
