January 8th seemed a long time after Yuletide when we were looking at it from late November, but now that it’s nearly upon us, it isn’t very long at all. So starlady38 and I are officially extending the deadline on The Aurors challenge to January 22nd, two weeks later. If the lack of sufficient time was your reason for not getting in on the fun, please do reconsider!
;_; I wish I’d known this three days ago when I was freaking out about the 8th deadline. BUT OH WELL. XD It’s actually not that big a deal. Now I just have to resist the urge to try to write another fic by then, because no, it’s not happening, I am not that prolific, and I still have to write a fic for .

It gives you a bit more time to edit, though, if you want. (I won’t even encourage you to write another one. Really I won’t! I’ll be good.)

Lately, however, I am incapable of writing anything less than 4,000 words, which isn’t long, but just long enough that I really need a good amount of time to work on it.

My fic grew insanely in the telling, and I was going rather mad, because I needed to have it to beta by tomorrow afternoon to meet the deadline, and it just would not end.
I looked on your journal on some sort of mad whim, thinking maybe…maybe the mods would be kind and wonderful, and you were! And I’m stopping now, because I’ve written far too much today, and am becoming giddy.
Again, I can’t possibly thank you guys enough!
