Kittens get big, as compared proportionately to dogs: what you want is a *parrot.* Then you can teach it to say things like “F’lar is a douche!” and much merriment will be had by all.

My cat grew up to be all of eight pounds (and that when she got “plump”); she was Lessa-sized, for a cat.
I have one of those feather-weights, too. But my most recent adoption just passed 12 pounds and still needs a little more to be juuuust right.
. . . how did you dress? Aside from wherhide, I can’t remember anything identifiable that she wore.

Charles Wallace. (No, really). And now I’m trying to imagine what animal I need to acquire to bear the name. We named our last dog Miles (after Miles Vorkosigan), which sort of doomed the puppy to be an uncontrollable hellion that we were forced to give up.
