Jackie Kessler and Caitlin Kittredge are doing a pretty sweet contest for their upcoming book Shades of Gray (sequel to Black and White, their first superhero/urban fantasy collaboration). Due to legal restrictions, the contest is open to everybody, but the general idea is to get people to pre-order Shades of Gray, so as to help ensure it will actually show up on bookstore shelves. (There’s been a problem with the situation there, but I don’t know if the details are mine to share.)
