London Trip IV: Return of the Revenge of the Bride of the Trip

la_marquise_de made me realize I hadn’t actually said anything about this publicly.

I’ll be making my fourth research trip to London at the beginning of June, arriving late on the first and leaving on the tenth. I don’t have my schedule for that planned out yet, but if you are London-local, drop me a line (either here or by e-mail), and I may try to arrange some kind of dinner one night. No promises — it depends on what the schedule ends up looking like — but I think it would be fun.

We are certainly around, and can get into London fairly easily on most of those days.

I can manage the 8th and 9th June. You may be able to see the new house if you want.

…and is there a stop in NYC associated with this?

Yes and no. Yes in that I have a four-hour layover in JFK on the way back; no in that it isn’t useful. On the other hand, I have scheduled a separate New York trip for later in June, because the logistics actually worked out better that way, rather than trying to tack it onto London again.

I’ll be making social arrangements for that trip soon, but first I have to schedule business stuff.

Uh oh, that may or may not be a time when I’m around. I’ll be out of town for the last weekend of June (from the 23rd to the 28th)…no worries on specific scheduling, but I hope we have an overlap!

And if it was LGA, I’d be totally willing to keep you company (though actually what with security and all I wouldn’t probably be allowed to) but JFK is just too much of a pain to get to. 🙂
