I head off to Conestoga in Tulsa this weekend. For those who will be attending, here’s my schedule of events:

Fri 03:00 PM – Researching the Fantastic

Sat 09:00 AM – Teaching Science Fiction

Sat 12:00 PM – Broad Universe Rapid-Fire Reading

Sat 01:00 PM – Creatures: Faeries, Demons & Zombies

Sat 03:00 PM – Signing

Sun 11:00 AM – The Pen vs. the Sword

Sun 01:00 PM – Don’t Dumb it Down: Writing for Young Adults

This is the busiest con schedule I’ve ever had. I hope that by the end, I’m still capable of saying interesting things.

    If you show up for the last panel and say, “Young adult smarter than old adult. Sometimes,” and then collapse on the table, at least it’ll be thematically appropriate.

    I just friended you today as I followed a trail from Midnight Never Come, which I just finished a couple hours ago, to your website to your livejournal.

    As since you so kindly asked people to mention when they friend you, I decided that I would happily do so.

    I must say, Midnight Never Come is a brilliant novel, and I loved it a great deal. I not only friended you because of that, but also because it seems we share quite a bit in common.
