I forgot to mention it last month (bad Swan, bad), but I’m one of the contributors to the SF Novelists group blog. The sixteenth of the month is my day to post, so today, it’s a ramble on respecting history — that is, writing historical fiction while being respectful to the real people of the time.
In other news, I’m sick. Better now, thirteen days before the wedding, than some time next week, right? Right?
Of course right!
I wish you toast and weak tea or orange juice and chili, depending on what kind of sick you are.
I woke up this morning craving Campbell’s Chunky Beef with White and Wild Rice soup. Lacking any, I instead devoured an entire can of their Hearty Chicken Noodle, followed by a bowl of oatmeal.
When I get this sort of sick, I am unendingly hungry, and not for toast.
Take it easy! And remember to breathe.
