“The Wheel of the Year”

It’s my first non-speculative poetry sale!

Given my lifelong habit of writing speculative fiction — mostly fantasy, a little bit of science fiction and horror, and a very very few non-spec works of historical fiction — it startled me when I found that in poetry, I’m apparently willing to go entirely non-genre. “The Wheel of the Year” is a piece of extremely pastoral terza rima, and it will be out in The Rialto Books Review!
