“Drawing Strength”

Regrettably, I have not been able to track down the original source of the image that gave me the idea for this poem. (I don’t know if that means it’s AI or not, because the results when I tried to look for it are themselves so poisoned by slop that it shows up e.g. on Walmart’s site being advertised as a bunch of different things, none of which remotely match the image.) It depicts a dryad-like woman sitting in a meditative pose — and since I find sonnets often very meditative, that’s what I wrote!
