“The Great Undoing”

Just as what I consider to be my first successful short story was not the first one I sold, so too with my first successful poem. But this is the one that started it all, the one that was a forlorn and neglected item on my “list of stories I might write someday” that kept failing to grow the kinds of features a story ought to have — until one day a tiny little voice in the depths of my mind said, “What if . . . poem instead?” Though this was an alien suggestion to the rest of me, I gave it a shot, and thus was my career in poetry born!

It has been purchased by 4LPH4NUM3R1C (or Alphanumeric, in its easier-to-type form), and will be out in audio format (!) in the near future!
