“Our Rewards”

One of the things I find myself really enjoying about poetry is how it can so easily blur the line between speculative and literary fiction, simply by dint of the way figurative language is so embedded in poetry. Is this villanelle about dragons, or is it about billionaires? The answer is yes to both!
