Until such time as we settle on an official title for this series and/or the first book, “Worst Monk” will do!

I have sold a new series to Angry Robot, working title The Worst Monk in the World Goes on Pilgrimage. It is essentially what it says on the tin: a Buddhist-style monk (in a secondary world) with incredibly bad karma embarks upon the titular pilgrimage in the hopes of bettering their lot. Need I say that trouble ensues?

The first book will be out in 2027. Stay tuned to this space for further details as they become available!
