Stories of the Onyx Court
My general rule is that I need at least three stories in a grouping before they merit a position on the sidebar, which is why it is, at present, so short. But in this case I'm making an exception, both because Deeds of Men is connected to my Onyx Court series of novels, and because I have every intention of writing more such stories in the future.
Since the idea is for the stories to take place between the novels, I'll go ahead and provide a rudimentary chronology here, to put each narrative in its context.
- 1588-1590: Midnight Never Come
- 1605: "And Blow Them at the Moon"
- 1621-1625: Deeds of Men
- 1639-1666: In Ashes Lie
- 1720: "Each New Morn" (unfinished)
- 1749: "An Enquiry Into the Causes" (not yet written)
- 1757-1759: A Star Shall Fall
- 1828: "This Living Hand" (not yet written)
- 1884: [untitled novel]
