Memento

In the quiet green meadows of southern England, a broad and peaceful river flows eastward toward the sea.

Huts appear on the river's banks. The huts become houses. The houses are surrounded by a wall. Year by swift year, the pageant of history proceeds, and London grows from nothingness into a Celtic village, a Roman fort, a Saxon town. The White Tower appears. Commerce comes, and artistry, and power, and through the centuries, London becomes the greatest city this land has known.

And behind its mortal face lies the splendor of the Dreaming. Gargoyles perch on rooftops, while dragons soar in the sky above. Fae walk the streets, battle in alleys, sing in markets, drawing dreams from the humans around them, living their lives beyond mortal eyes. They have been here from the beginning, and will fight for their city until the end of time.

This is London. The City of the Tower. The heart of England, and of Albion. Here, the mortal world and the Dreaming will be changed forever.
